Posted on: 29/01/2020

Sixth Form Psychology students enjoyed an interesting and informative trip to the Royal Courts of Justice, The Chambers and The Old Bailey this week.

The Old Bailey deals with major criminal cases and the Royal Courts of Justice hears civil matters. Students enjoyed a tour, which started at the historical Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand, and students were able to experience some of the cases being heard. The group then walked through the secret alleys and courtyards of the nearby Inns of Court, retracing the footsteps of some of the most renowned legal minds this country has seen. Following this, students made their way to the Old Bailey.

An enjoyable day that helped students to appreciate the day to day workings of the criminal justice system.
