BBC News School Report 2017

A number of students at Blenheim High School will be joining schools across the country on Thursday 16 March 2017 when they take part in the BBC News School Report.

BBC News School Report gives pupils in the UK the chance to make their own news reports for a real audience. Participating schools research and produce their own news reports on interesting things happening in their area. Teachers help develop pupils' journalistic skills to become School Reporters, so they can report on the stories that matter to them and make their voices heard.

On Thursday 16 March we will be taking part in the annual News Day, simultaneously creating video, audio and text-based news reports, and publishing them on our website, to which the BBC links. Last year around 30,000 pupils from over 1,000 schools took part in the annual News Day on Thursday 16th March 2017.
