Blenheim High School Sixth Form

Our Open Evening for the 6th Form will be on

Thursday, 19th November 2009, 6.30pm-8.30pm. 

The presentation will begin at 6.30pm promptly. The prospectus is currently being printed and will be available to collect on the evening.

Advanced Level Courses 

We are a comprehensive Sixth Form but we have to set minimum entry requirements because we know that a firm foundation at GCSE is vital for success at Advanced Level.

All students must have 5 A*-C grades to take Advanced Level courses. Many subjects also have minimum grade requirements.

All students take 4 AS subjects as well as either General Studies and Critical Thinking. We build the timetable blocks around student choice so it is advisable to get your application in early. After we have put together the timetable blockings, students will have to select their combination of subjects from this.

 Subjects will only run if there are a viable number of students in the group. Some of our subjects run in twilight time in order to accommodate student choice.

 All students will have an individual interview with a member of the Leadership Team to determine their suitability for the Sixth Form. Students who apply from outside Blenheim will only be accepted on receipt of favourable references from their current school.
