GCSE results' celebrations at Blenheim High School!

Following their ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted in May 2019 and last year’s achievement of being Surrey’s most improved Secondary School, Blenheim High School has managed to beat its record-breaking GCSE results year of 2018. Pass rates have risen again with the percentage of students gaining 5 or more GCSEs at a grade 4 or above including English and Maths rising to 65%. The same figure without English and Maths has risen from 69% to 72%. The percentage of students gaining a grade 4 or above in Maths and English has also risen with Maths rising from 73% to 78% and English language rising from 72% to 77%. 

The highest performer is Krista Abbott with 8 x 9s and a Distinction*. Other exceptional achievers are Josie Peters, Sophie Brown, Tahir Farooq, Holly Osbond, Emma Sullivan, Roddy Macaulay, Elliot Frewin, Caleb Heather and Molly Carle.

Tony Bodell, Headteacher at Blenheim High School says “These results are a credit to the Blenheim Community and I would like to pay tribute to all students, teachers, support staff, parents and governors who have contributed to these great results.”
