Under 16 Girls’ Football Team Win Their 50th Unbeaten Game

Blenheim took a long trip to Docklands to play the next round of their national cup adventure v The Royal Docks Academy.

The girls were at their fluid best and the football on display was a joy to watch. This married with the girls’ trademark of hard work and resilience meant there would only ever be one winner.

From the goalkeeper right through the team to the forwards Blenheim were hungry for the ball and produced some excellent football throughout. The girls scored 8 brilliant goals, with Becca scoring 3, captain Amelie contributing 2 goals and 5 assists and Mariella, Freya and Bronte also getting in on the scoring act in this confident 8-2 win.

The win takes #teamblenheim through to round 4, to face last year’s quarter final opponents whom were defeated on penalties after a wind affected game.
