Year 10

Blenheim High School

4 Hinchley Wood School

An excellent result despite being down one goal after the first half. The girls played at an exceptionally high level and performed superbly against a strong Hinchley Wood team. Passing and driving for the ball were effective throughout and a cohesive team spirit helped the girls to victory, winning 7-4. Spectators commented on the impressive play. A big well done to all the girls on producing some high quality netball and congratulations to Maddie who was awarded Player of the Match.

Year 9

Blenheim High School 13

2 Hinchley Wood School

Year 9 students played a good game against a strong Hinchley Wood team on Wednesday night. The girls worked hard in the first half and went on to produce a more cohesive team performance in the second half. It was great to see some of the coaching advice being applied in the game. There were a lot of turnovers in defence from Lyra and Leah which gave the girls an excellent platform. Good movement through the centre court to press the ball into the circle also served Blenheim well. This was a challenging game which showcased some excellent play from the Blenheim team. Well done and congratulations to Lyra who was awarded Player of the Match.

Team: Lyra H, Leah S, Erin B, Hannah G, Lilly J, Freya M, Tanzy H.
