Posted on: 22/05/2018

We are delighted to tell you that following our fundraising event 'Strictly Blenheim' and as a result of generous matchfunding from Santander Bank, a much needed water tank has now been installed at our link school in Kenya, St Martin's Oluti.

The total raised was £1408.20 including the matchfunding from Santander. Below are some photographs of Mrs Charles with the Branch Director, the Regional Director and the Divisional Director with the cheque that was sent to St Martin's Oluti.

Mrs Charles, who led the fundraising received a wonderful letter and accompanying photos from their Principal, Mr Origa.

Dear Mrs Charles,

What a great way to end the day today and start the week with everybody smiling at St.Martin's Oluti Mixed Secondary School as result of the long awaited  "Strictly Blenheim " Event 2018 ,10,000 Litre Water Tank Delivered at long last to St.Martin's Oluti Mixed Secondary School.

This has given us hope.

This donation has touch the heart of all the family of St.Martin's Oluti Mixed Secondary School.

We are very grateful to all that worked so hard and donated this 10,000 liters water tank to us it will go along way to reduce the safe water  challenge in the school a bit.

Looking at the cost involved then one can see that it is a great sacrifice from all those that donated the tank to us.Which we could not have bought yourself for over so many years to come.

Thanks so so much to the “Strictly Blenheim " Event 2018 team and everybody that donated towards this worthy cause so that our students can have safe drinking water.

may god bless you all and reward you all in His best way He can.

This a true reflection of true and great worthy friend to St. Martin’s Oluti Mixed Secondary School family and the local community.

So tomorrow the Supplier will deliver the last bit of the order like the materials for fitting and installing the water tank so that by this weekend the tank will be ready to be used by the students.

Without saying so much I request to share with you some of the photo evidence for the delivery and some of the photos picking the great mood of the students when the tank arrived in school this evening so that you can see for yourselves how happy we were as school for this kind donation from  "Strictly Blenheim " Event 2018.

Thanks so so much.

Yours,

Mr Origa,
