Preparation for the National Future Chef Finals

On Monday 22nd January 2018, Jasmine from 7NX went to the Marriott Hotel at Twickenham stadium to practise our two course menu for the Regional Final of Futurechef - the National Competition designed to inspire young people to study Food Technology and consider a career in the Food Industry. The National Final will take place on 6th February at Bromley College. Kavita Bengali, Executive Chef at the Marriott hotel who is our mentor chef and helped Jasmine create and prepare our wonderful Valentine's themed menu.

Main Course

Crushed juniper berry venison with butternut squash purée, port and red currant sauce, heritage carrots, broad beans and blackberries, garnished with pea shoots.


Passion fruit and coconut panna cotta with passion fruit gel, fresh berries, poppy seed croutons and edible flower garnish.
