Year 7 and 8 Girls’ Netball teams travelled to Heathside, Walton-on-Thames School to play against

a new opponent! Despite it being their first encounter, both teams displayed great skill and

determination throughout the match.

During the Year 7 match, the girls showcased their ability to score under pressure, with Evie and

Megan working well together to score a combined 7 goals. Blenheim’s attacking and defence skills

have clearly improved, and the team demonstrated their excellent knowledge and understanding

of the rules and tactics. Despite this, the Year 7 team did end up losing the match.

Blenheim’s Year 8 team were very strong, and they knew how to work together effectively. Violet

was on point with her shooting accuracy, scoring an impressive 13 goals. The team were able to

intercept many passes, marked their opponents tightly and disrupted the opposition's attacking

playing well and therefore limiting them to only two goals. The team also had effective court

positioning, which enabled them to make effective passes.

Great work from both teams! We are looking forward to the last few training sessions of the

season!
