The catering services at Blenheim High School are very popular with both our students and staff. Our caterer Cucina Restaurants pride itself on preparing fresh, tasty and nutritious menus daily in the school kitchen by your very own Executive Head Chef.
Cucina offer a very wide variety of food options incorporating both traditional and international dishes including vegetarian and vegan options. Cucina are happy to accommodate specific dietary requirements and would ask parents/carers to inform Reception about these.
In addition to the school restaurant, there is a separate café for the Sixth form which offers the full range of hot and cold meals but also includes a deli sandwich bar. There is also a “Street Kitchen” food pod in the Technology quad where students are able to purchase shot and cold snacks and drink.
All students are able to purchase their food through a cashless account which is credited by parents through the ParentPay online system. This system uses a biometric finger recognition which avoids the need to remember a PIN. Students select their food and drink choices and their finger is then scanned at the pay point. Parents can view the food and drink being bought by their child by viewing your ParentPay account.
Students can purchase fresh food for breakfast from 8am. Free porridge is available for all students alongside a wide selection of hot breakfast rolls, continental pastries, fruit and yoghurt and toasting station. Should students wish to purchase breakfast, a breakfast pass will be needed. There are two further significant breaks serving a wide selection of hot and cold food; Break 1 (10:45-11:05) or Break 2 (12:55-13:30). A lunch time meal deal is available for £3.00 which includes a main course and dessert of the day.
Students are welcome to bring a packed lunch. These can be eaten in the Main Hall or on the picnic tables in the Quad and Technology Quad.
