After almost two years, Blenheim’s Chess Club made a welcome return this week. Over 30 students from all year groups participated, ranging from those who had never played the game before to seasoned “check-maters”! 

There was a great atmosphere as beginners learned the basics and regular players competed against each other. The club was so popular that there were not enough chess boards to go round so if anyone has a chess board gathering dust please do feel free to donate them to Blenheim as it will definitely go to a good home!
