The Chelsea FC Blenheim Development Team travelled down to the south coast to take on Barton Peveril Sixth Form in the English Colleges league this week.
On a cold afternoon on a testing pitch it took the girls a while to settle into the game, with a scrappy first ten minutes that saw Chelsea FC Blenheim struggle to play their quick passing football. However, the rhythm soon began to show and by the 12th minute Millie had scored two to put Chelsea FC Blenheim two up and in control. Another goal from Millie and two from Megan saw Blenheim take a five goal lead into the second half.
The girls could have been excused for sitting back and claiming a deserved three points, however, they showed their professional attitude to win and secure the points with another seven goals in the second half. Millie added to her first half tally with Megan scoring three more to take her tally to five. Amelie and Amie concluded the scoring and all three points came back to Epsom.
