The Mathematics Department is delighted in celebrating the outstanding achievements of our Year 11 students in this year’s Challenge. Their hard work, enthusiasm, problem-solving skills and mathematical capabilities have truly shone through. A total of 26 students took part, achieving an impressive set of results: ·4 Gold awards; ·6 Silver awards; ·8 Bronze awards; ·8 Participation awards. This represents one of Blenheim’s strongest performances in recent years, and the department is extremely proud of every student who took part on the Challenge. Blenheim’s Deputy Headteacher, Head of Mathematics, Ms Laidler, commented: “I am very proud of the Year 11 students who participated in this event. A willingness to participate in this challenging event demonstrates a true Blenheim Growth Mindset and Resilience in action. Well done to all!” 

Special congratulations go to Blenheim’s 3 automatic qualifiers to the follow-up competitions on 19 March– Olly (Maclaurin Olympiad) and Ben and Alvin (Pink Kangaroo). We wish them all the very best of luck in the next round. Enjoy the Challenge!
