Glyn 54 v 77 Blenheim 

The year 10 Basketball team travelled the short distance to Glyn for a basketball fixture this week. As it was a local school, the game came with extra anticipation, and the boys made it clear they wanted to win. Blenheim started with a small but fast starting five, the game plan was to be aggressive defensively, force turnovers and run the ball on offence. The plan worked brilliantly. The players were disciplined, patient and aggressive without the ball and gave no easy shots and when the opportunities came they ran the ball full court and scored lots of fast break points. When Blenheim were forced to play in Glyn's half of the court, the team passed and cut effortlessly, with the ball being passed quickly creating lanes to drive using the dribble and space to pass and shoot. The chemistry and drive to win was fantastic and everyone played hard when they were in the game. A true team performance!
