Posted on: 20/08/2026

Blenheim students have broken several records this year with excellent GCSE results. 70% of students achieved 5 or more 9-4 grades including Maths and English and 50% of students achieved 5 or more 9-5 grades including Maths and English, both of which are school records.

This cohort have set a significant number of Blenheim GCSE records including 62% of results being graded 9-5 and 25% being graded being 9-7. Blenheim boys have bucked the national trend and secured 9 of the 10 top performing results.

Among the successes are Winston, Ben, Aleksander, Oliver, Sophia, Lewis, Daniel, Corentine, Edward and Edward. Many of them are continuing their studies at the Blenheim Sixth Form and the top 10 attainers will receive a £1000 scholarship to assist with their Sixth Form studies.

Tony Bodell, Headteacher at Blenheim High School says “These record-breaking GCSE results are a fantastic achievement for our students and a very proud moment for the whole Blenheim community. To see numerous school records broken is testament to the determination and hard work of our students and staff. We are particularly proud to see our boys bucking the national trend and achieving nine of our ten top-performing results. Congratulations to every student who has achieved these results; we are delighted that so many will continue their journey with us in our Sixth Form, where we look forward to supporting them as they take their next steps. The £1,000 scholarships for our top ten attainers are a fitting recognition of their outstanding achievements.”
