A Competition of 24 Schools from Kent & surrounding areas

2nd Place for #teamblenheim!

Blenheim dancers competed last Saturday evening, in their second competition of the academic year. The Cascade Dance Championships is a large competition that takes place at West Kent College, Tonbridge. Twenty-four schools competed against each other in different dance styles and across different year groups.

Blenheim dancers were made up of eleven students from Years 7, 8 and 9. They effectively used their ‘Survivor’ routine based on bullying. The judges were ‘wowed’ by the performance citing the powerful concept and dramatic ending as key features.

The girls performed exceptionally well and gave an energising performance in a very high standard of competition. This resulted in them gaining second place and narrowly missing out on first. Another huge achievement for Blenheim Dance! Congratulations to Tula who was awarded Blenheim Team Member of the day for an outstanding, energetic performance.

Team: Keziah H, Tula S, Lily J, Grace G, Joely B, Kezia T, Sienna W, Alice P, Elizabeth B, Ella H, Tanzy H.
