Coombe Boys’

Blenheim High School

Blenheim played Coombe Boys’ School this week in the third round of the Surrey Cup. Blenheim were missing three key players due to injury so it was always going to be a tough challenge. Blenheim started the game with an excellent attitude and work ethic on a very soggy pitch. The rain soon started to come down which made conditions hard for both teams.

Blenheim had opportunities to score at key points in the game but could not capitalise. Coombe won the match 6-0. There was an outstanding Man of the Match display from Will, in goal, making a number of spectacular saves. Will was awarded the Man of the Match.
