Congratulations to the year 10 boys’ basketball team who beat Ashcombe High School 25-19. The boys used their improved agility skills to dribble in and around defenders and put shots up. However, they were up against some excellent zone defense which was challenging to break through. Blenheim had a number of players to substitute on allowing the team to maintain pace and intensity throughout the match. The best team play was seen when going back to basics, simple passing and lay ups, keeping Blenheim in front for the whole match. Congratulations to all players who represented the school with great sportsmanship and an excellent manner.
