The Year 7 Boys’ travelled to Therfield this week for a league game. The game started scrappy,with both teams struggling to get a foothold. Therfield struck early on with a header at the back post from a corner. After they conceded, the boys began to grow in the game. A fantastic run,which started from the halfway line, brought Elijah up to the edge of their box. He squared it to the back post where Alfie was waiting to pounce. 1-1. The boys struggled to continue their momentum into the second half and two late goals from Therfield saw the game finish 3-1. A difficult result to take, but plenty of positives within the performance.
