 Charlie began his Basketball journey in Year 5, joining the Kingston Wildcats, where he quickly stood out by regularly earning MVP and various other awards. During this time, he competed in the National League, showcasing his growing talent and passion for the game.

His progress led him to trial for the Surrey Rams, a Premier League team, where he secured a spot and was later recognised with the Coach’s Player Award at the end-of-season ceremony. That season, the team played 22 matches, with an impressive record of only 2 losses.

A major highlight of the season was the team’s participation in the Euro Youth Basketball Cup in Barcelona, with matches held in Santa Susanna. Representing the Surrey Rams in the Under-14s category, Charlie and his team played against international opponents:

USA (Playoffs) – WIN

Out of 16 teams in the U14 category, they achieved an outstanding 3rd place finish, marking a memorable milestone in Charlie's early Basketball career.
