Record breaking year for GCSE results
Posted on: 21/08/2025Blenheim High School students have bucked the trend and achieved over 10% higher than the national pass rate. 78% of grades awarded are 9-4, 59% are 9-5 and 25% are 9-7 all of which are school records. Another noteworthy record is that 15% of students achieved 5 or more grades 9-7 including Maths and English. An improvement of 5% on last year’s results.
Among the successes are Emily Preston, Maia Raja, Annabelle du Plessis, Oscar Stopford, Daniel Petrov, Sophie Kindred, Mark Goldberg, Thomas Holme, Adrian Klis, Gabrielle Kruger, Theo Monk, Lydia Tucker, Fatima Al-Ugaily, Charlie Cains, Sophia Periera-Ademiluyi, Ben Wright, Jasper Waghorn, Honey Carpenter, Holly Crane, Daniel Williams and Florence Smith. Many of them are continuing their studies at the Blenheim Sixth Form and the top 10 performers automatically receive a £1000 scholarship to assist with their Sixth Form studies.

Over the years, these young people have faced challenges with determination and resilience and it’s inspiring to see their efforts rewarded with such well-deserved success. We’re immensely proud of what they’ve achieved and we’re excited to welcome many of them back to join our vibrant Sixth Form community this September.”
