Autumn Term House Update

Posted on: 16/12/2025

Term 1.2 began with an exciting House Netball Competition, with strong participation and

competitive performances across all year groups. The Year 7 tournament was a particular

highlight, with Sinndar crowned overall winners after demonstrating excellent teamwork and skill

throughout the competition. A number of standout individual performances were recognised

with Most Valuable Player awards, presented to Leo, Cacie, Ivy, Naomi, Clara, Lilya, William, and

Hannah for their outstanding effort, skill, and sportsmanship.

The Year 8 tournament also saw a high standard of play, with Octavius winning the overall

competition following a series of strong performances. MVP awards were presented to Isaac,

Anneliese, Poppy, Lily, Sophia, Tess, and Rhiannon, recognising their consistency, teamwork, and

positive attitude on court.

The combined Year 9/10 tournament followed, with Sinndar securing the overall win, continuing

their impressive form and adding valuable points to their house total. The MVP awards for this

match was awarded to Caitie, Megan, Bella, Rosie & Tommy.

The focus then shifted to creativity with the House Creative Writing Competition. Students showcased

originality and flair, with Sinndar winning the KS3 category and Nashwan taking the honours in KS4,

contributing valuable points to the overall standings.

Festive spirit was on display during the House Tree Decoration Challenge. Tulyar should be recognised

for submitting the highest number of entries, demonstrating excellent house engagement. After

careful judging, Sinndar were awarded first place for the overall quality of their decoration, further

strengthening their lead.

The term concluded with the allocation of house behaviour points, rewarding consistent positive

conduct across the school. Octavius finished top in this category, followed by Nashwan, Tulyar, and

Sinndar.

We are also pleased to confirm that the new House Captains have now been selected. Details of the

captains for each house can be seen in the table below, and congratulations to all students who have
