Celebrations on A level Results Day

On this unique Results Day, Blenheim High School is celebrating fantastic A level and BTEC results. In spite of the difficulties of 2020, students, staff and parents have all shown remarkable patience, resilience and courage and have been rewarded with excellent results.

Among the successes are Austen Leitch who got 2 As and an A* and will go on to study Maths at Oxford, Danielle Jump who gained the 2 A*s and A that she needed to secure her place at Cambridge to study History of Art and Katie Lane, our Head Girl, has secured 3 A*s and will be going to Cambridge to study Human, Social and Political Sciences. Katie’s twin sister Jess also did brilliantly with 3 Bs and will be going to Roehampton to study Teaching. Our Head Boy, Ben Banyard, secured 3 As and is going to Leeds, Jay Darey secured his place at Plymouth to study Medicine with his 2 As and a B and Mya Dalgleish gained an A* in both Maths and Further Maths along with an A in Physics to get her place at Southampton to study Marine Engineering. 

Kian Jervis, Sophia Solomou, and Louise Bridgeman gained an A* and 2 As, Ralph Drummond and Jodie Morden each got 3 As, Aisha Dookun  achieved an A*, A and a B and Lucy Bushaway, Rhys Cooper and Mia Le Stavri were awarded 2 As and a B.

Tony Bodell, Headteacher at Blenheim High School says “This year’s A level results are outstanding and a credit to the students and staff here who have worked tirelessly over many years. We are very proud of the way our students have handled the situation this year and are delighted to see them going on to such a variety of further studies and career. I’d like to say a huge well done to all our Sixth Form students and staff and thank all parents for their support."
