Three Rivers School

Blenheim started the first quarter very strong with excellent passing and several breaks through the Three Rivers’ defence. Blenheim scored the first 6 points via Knester and Matthew.

However, Blenheim came up against some strong attacking play and the scores were soon level. Blenheim continued to show great team work and were more solid in their rebounds. Varied attacking strategies help keep Blenheim in front. An excellent pass from Ollie to Wagner saw Blenheim score an excellently composed 3 pointer.

The scores were level going into half time. Three Rivers were strong in the third and fourth quarters but Blenheim showed such determination and resilience to bring the scores level again. Knester scored 5 lay ups in a row to put Blenheim in front, however, Three Rivers fought back in the last minute to win the match. The team should be very proud of the role they played in a thoroughly entertaining and sporting match.
