It was fantastic to see the House spirit that students demonstrated upon arrival. There was also cheering coming from the year 10 students who came to support their House. The tournament ticked off with with Octavius v Nashwan. There was great play by both sides with two baskets being scored by Elaina and Adam. Jacob and Ryan each found the basket once for Nashwan. 

The second round of matches saw Tulyar v Nashwan, where spirits remained high and the reserves were battling to get onto the pitch. Tulyar beat Nashwan 4 – 2. The scorer for Tulyar was Oliver who scored twice with Charlie scoring for Nashwan. 

Ultimately Octavius were victorious defeating Tulyar 5 - 2. Baskets were scored by Elaina and Adam for Octavius and Oliver for Tulyar. 

Octavius were crowned 2022 Year 7 House Basketball Champions!
