Before half term Year 10 and 11 high performers participated in the UK Mathematics Trust Intermediate Maths Challenge. The 60-minute Maths challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve 25 interesting problems. The problems are designed to make students think and not to guess as students lose marks for incorrect answers! The top 50% of participants nationally receive a Bronze, Silver, or Gold certificate. The results are in and I am delighted to say that all Blenheim students that participated receive an award!
