The Year 8 Netball team played in their first tournament of the Year against Esher, St. Andrews and Rosebery school. This was the first time the girls had played together as a team, after such a short time training this season. Their first game against Rosebery was a tough match, but the girls continued to attack, scoring 11 goals by the end of the match. The other two matches against St. Andrews and Esher were tough, and they had to dig deep to defend well. After a fantastic first quarter, the girls came away with two losses but over 18 goals scored in total. Well done to Taylore who was voted player of the match, twice! Well done to Cara-May, who unfortunately injured herself in the first game but still cheered on her team throughout the whole tournament.
