House Music

Our Second event of this half term was the House Music event. This event was very well attended with all four houses providing excellent entries from solo artists to group artists performing several hits from the past as well as current hits today. The quality of performances has increased year on year with this year seeing exceptionally strong entries from all houses. The range of instruments played was especially exciting to see with Drums, Keyboard, Bass guitar, Electric guitar and Piano all featuring. We also have some incredibly talented singers which supplemented the event further. After much deliberation it was agreed that Tulyar and Nashwan would receive joint first place, contributing 20 points to their Houses whilst Octavius and Sinndar would both receive 10 points each for their House total. House Socrative Quiz

Our final event of this half term was the House Socrative Quiz with all students completing questions themed around World Book Day that was on the 6 of March this year. All the students completed this quiz to the best of their ability, with some close results and ties seen!

Finally, I have been impressed with the attitude that students have shown this half term. All the events have been a huge hit and participation rates continue to be high. After Easter the house events comprise House Rounders, House Drama and House Master-chef. As usual on the first Tuesday back after each half term there is a virtual House assembly for all students.
