A wonderful evening of Dance from students in all key stages. Over a 100 students were involved, showcasing their skills and progress.

This year we have seen incredible success across all areas of the Dance community at Blenheim. There have been excellent numbers at each of the six weekly Dance Academy lessons, run by our brilliant external coaches.

Dance Academy students have performed at events in the local community and we are looking forward to performing at the Epsom and Ewell Dance Festival in June.

In March, 30 students represented the school and competed at the Great Big Dance Off Competition, Southeast Regional Heats and were outstanding. The KS4 team placed 5 , the KS5 team placed 4 and KS3 team placed 2 , missing out on 1 place by 1 mark. The KS3 team has qualified for the National Finals in July and will go against the first and second place teams from the other regional heats. These regional results are the best overall results we have had as a school and put us in the top 5 schools for the Southeast region!

The same teams also competed at two local competitions, stars of Tomorrow, in Crawley and Glaygate, and once again wowed judges with their performances. The KS5 team placed 2 in a very tough category and the KS3 and KS4 teams were given awards for highly creative choreography.

The Dance Show featured an electric mixture of Dance routines including Boys’ hip hop and competition team performances from KS4 and KS5 students.
