The tournament, hosted by Hinchley Wood, consisted of four teams. The first match was against Three Rivers. The girls played exceptionally well, with fantastic bowling from captain Amy. B and consistent batting from Abi. H. It was a close match, but Blenheim snatched the win by half a rounder. The performance and score built the girls confidence levels and set them up nicely for the second match. The second match was against Ashcombe. Ashcombe's fielding was consistent and rehearsed. Although Blenheim found this match challenging, there were some stand out performances from Leah T who dominated the field and Emily. C who scored some outstanding rounders. The last match was against Hinchley Wood. The girls had reflected on their previous performance and tightened up on their fielding. This worked in their favour and although it was another close match, Blenheim came away triumphant again. Well done to Caitlin. KB demonstrating incredible fielding skills and Bella. W for leading the batters to victory. The girls loved participating and gained valuable experience, but most importantly, had lots of fun. Well done #teamBlenheim.
