Christmas RAG Week
Posted on: 05/12/2025It has been a fun-packed RAG Week in the Sixth Form, with students raising money for Cancer Research UK
and the Royal Marsden Christmas Charity. Sixth Form students have been dressing up as movie characters, in outfits representing their dream jobs, through the decades and a number of staff joined in too!
There have been many highlights throughout the week, including Krispy Kreme doughnuts, hot chocolate with marshmallows, plenty of cakes, and a range of wonderful activities. A huge well done to the Sixth Form Student Leadership Team, who have run a fantastic programme of events during Break 2, including Christmas crafting, Just Dance, a Christmas carnival, and a teacher - student fancy dress competition; won by Mr Scrivener himself!
A final fundraising total is still being counted, but the team has already raised over £600 from wristband sales for the events alone. This will be the final event organised by the current Leadership Team, as our new Year 12 team will take over from January. Staff across the school have been incredibly impressed by the dedication and volunteering shown by this group of students, who have been excellent role models for the younger years. The Sixth Form Team are extremely proud of them and all they have achieved.
