This week Year 10 student, Miko met Mr Bodell following her appearance on Junior Bake Off. Miko told Mr Bodell that her love of baking came from her mother. Miko was selected from over thousands of applicants to participate in Junior Bake Off. The selection process involved a significant written application, two telephone interviews, an audition in London and, finally, a face-to-face interview. In the actual competition Miko was one of eighteen participants and she progressed to the last four and made it to the final! Miko was one of the least experienced bakers on the programme which makes her achievements even more impressive.
