Congratulations to the year 8 Netball team who played outstandingly well across all four quarters
of the match. Blenheim dominated the match with simple and very effective netball. Putting all of
their hard work and tactics from netball club into action. Centre passes from Rhiannon were
varied and accurate with terrific movement off the ball from Chloe and Kate and passing directly
into Lyra who scored consistently. The defence were tested in both the centre third and defensive
third and all worked hard for each other, being the first to react and intercept and block passes.
Khushi has excellent agility and ability to turn around the ball back to Blenheim, Beatrice was
steadfast in her role and effectively selected the right pass to feed the ball back up the court to
the attack. Tess remained alert at all times and rebounded balls under the basket and dominated
the shooting D. The teamwork, camaraderie and sportswomen ship on display was truly fantastic.
