Posted on: 26/01/2026

This week 40 students from Years 11 to 13 visited Bletchley Park, the historic home of British

codebreaking during the Second World War. Students took part in a guided tour of the site,

learning about the incredible work of the codebreakers who helped shorten the war. They also

completed an interactive Enigma workshop, where everyone had the rare opportunity to use an

authentic Enigma machine once operated during WW2. Afterward, students explored the

museum and grounds, gaining a fascinating insight into wartime intelligence and innovation. The

trip was a fantastic educational experience, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
